This 12 Years Old Cask Strength Bunnahabhain is matured on the remote,north-eastern coastline of the Isle of Islay.Our location impacts our whisky in a big way,drawing on the abundance of clear spring water and ever-changing coastal climate to deliver a unique,unpeated Islay single malt whisky .Bottled at cask strength,the rich flavours showcase the classic sherry influenced house style of Bunnahabhain.This annual release bottling can be enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to encourage the spicy bites of cinnamon,followed by cloves and chocolate on the palate.
Nose : Floral and nutty with notes of marzipan,hazelnut ,almond cream and morello cherries.
Palate : Roasted nuts and spice lead the way with cinnamon and cloves fading to reveal soft notes of butterscotch,toffee,sultanas and a gentle hint of coffee
Finish : Lingering notes of cloves,hazelnut and cocoa
