Most whiskies are aged just one time,but at Dewar;s we do things a little differently.Choice malt whiskies and fine grain whiskies are aged separately in oak casks for a minimum of twelve years.Our master blender Stephanie Macleod,blends our matured whisky together,before ageing our blend in oak casks once more.This extra step is where the magic really happens.Our whiskies "marry" together to create an unbelievably smooth whisky enjoyed the world over.
Nose: A heady note of juicy fruit and thick, creamy malt. Rather floral, and quite sweet with notes of toasted barley, almond and a tinge of honey.
Palate: The palate is perfectly poised with notes of barley malt, hot buttered toast, a little honey, and some aniseed spiciness.
Finish: A touch of smoke on the tail, alongside plenty of thick malt and sweetness.
