Most whiskies are aged just one time,but at Dewar;s we do things a little differently.Choice malt whiskies and fine grain whiskies are aged separately in oak casks for a minimum of fifteen years.Our master blender Stephanie Macleod,blends our matured whisky together,before ageing our blend in oak casks once more.This extra step is where the magic really happens.Our whiskies "marry" together to create an unbelievably smooth whisky enjoyed the world over.
Nose: A good balance of Sherried spices, nutty elements and apple skin.
Palate: Oily walnut leading into fresh malt and sultanas. Chewy vanilla toffee.
Finish: More sweet dried fruit notes with touch of grassiness.
