Our elegantly crafted signature blend of 90% ex-Bourbon barrels and 10% shaved,toasted and re-charred ex-red wine barriques arises from the marriage of light and fruity Kingsbarns spirit with casks we hand select specially to accentuate the spirit's character.Longer maturation gives this release a new complexity arising from the interaction between the spirit and the oak casks.Bourbon casks emphasise the sweet and fruity character,with STR barriques giving a deep richness and colour.Slow and careful maturation of our signature blend brings you a whisky imbued with complex notes of summer blossom and sweet tropiical fruit.
Nose: Sweet and floral, with apricot, foam banana sweets, digestive, and a little flinty element.
Palate: It’s incredibly buttery and creamy, with heaps of tropical fruit, a hint of rhubarb, some aromatic spice, and citrus.
Finish: Long and delicately sweet, with a slightly sour raspberry note.
